You guys stole my car! 74 Cuda 408 stroker
« on: May 28, 2013 - 12:20:15 AM »
On the main/home page, and I'm flattered. Read here many a time but just registered. My car is the white 74 B-cuda with centerlines. 408 with iron heads, solid ft cam, 727 with gear vendors OD. Had it since I was 13-14, now 33. Paid $400 back then when it was a parts car, times have changed! Thanks for having me.

72 Challenger 340 4spd I'm building, will be for sale when/if its ever finished. Major money pit! This is an older pic. Was a factory black on white console 4 spd car someone painted plum crazy :screwy: Matching #'s engine with build sheet.

 Welcome!  Nice cars you have!  :grinyes:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Huh? Yep, it sure looks like your car. I never looked at it that closely but with the billboards I just assumed it was a '71. What are the odds? :dunno: Lots of good stuff in here, so c'mon in ... after all it is YOUR site with your car on the home page!

Thanks for welcome, great site.

Challenger still needs engine/trans installed. Just ordered all new fuel/brake lines from fine lines. Have new tank/sending unit and wiring to go in. Hope to have it done in a month or two. No way I'll ever sell it as is for anywhere near what I have in it. Assembled, running driving strong in driver quality I'm hoping low 20's? What do you guys think? It has a rebuilt matching #'s 340 built to 71 specs, I'm doing  the trans now. Everything I'm doing I try to do with care and attention to detail but the car won't be perfect. Has a real nice build sheet and fender tag etc, body #'s match. I might be out to lunch in the current market.

Anyway, not here to sell the car and this isn't an ad. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for having me!

Welcome to the site. That $20k would buy a real nice Corolla if you sold.  ;)

Market sux right now still for selling, but a '72 340 (real 340 car?) four-speed just painted and all done, should I think bring you closer to high $20s if you need to sell fast.  Low $30s if you can sit on it for awhile and wait for the right buyer to come along.

'72 best year I think for the '72-'74 style Challengers.
'70 318-auto Chally 'vert
'71 383-auto 'Cuda 'vert (sold)
