Did the AAR cars with the fiberglass hood use the pop up spring as the steel hoods? was it the same spring if they used one? What about the second release lever and hood latch were those used or just the hood pins. If the hoods used the latch, how was the the U shaped bracket attached to the hood? just screwed into the fiberglass with self tapping screw or were there inserts installed in the fiberglass? Any pictures of the latches and brackets mounting to the front of the hood if they were used would be much appreciated.
