« on: December 02, 2012 - 01:01:00 PM »
Trying to start my car today, Keeps turning over forever without firing, i can see it's getting fuel, if I spray a little starter fluid in it fires but then dies in a moment, any ideas?

If my car sits for a few weeks, I have to give it a couple of blasts with starting fluid. It will start and die. Start and die, but eventually I get good gas up from the tank and it is fine. It's also fine if I drive it every few days. It's just this Ethanol they are putting in the gas now that is killing my fun.   :stomp:  Total garbage, and not meant for older cars.    :grinno:

Sounds like fuel issue..
but,  If it fires, you release the key to the 'run' position, then it dies, change your ballast resistor.
