Repairing 72-74 grille fins

How do you repair the fins in the center section of a 72-74 grille.

73 440 Cuda'
915 heads (mild head work, stock bottom end 10/9:1 compression)
A518 2600-2800 Stall
4.10 rear gear
TTI headers with 3' exhaust with  X pipe 
comp XE274H cam
Hughes Roller Rockers
Holley Sniper EFI
Holley Street Dominator intake
MSD ignition

WANTED 71 cuda / barracuda project. Prefer Black but open.

I just did a few on this grille,but I have a few parts grilles to take some from.I use a two part plastic welder epoxy that I get at the hardware store thats made by Devcon.

I used the Devcon plastic weld that MoparClown recommended to me on a plastic grille piece. It worked well and has not cracked.  :2cents:

used a two part plastic epoxy and form some plexi-glass strips into fins and glued them in looks like it should work out OK, I wish I was a little more skilled and neater going to use a hammered finish paint to cover up any imperfections.

Looks good and if you hit that with some texture satin black 99.9% of the people that see the car will never even notice that it was repaired :cheers:
One tool that comes in very handy is a hack saw blade,makes nice cuts in the uprights in the fins so you actually insert them into a groove before glueing them :2thumbs:
I have been repairing quite a bit of plastic lately,and if anyone that reads this has broken grilles they want to get rid of?please pm me as this has been the work that is helping to support my family as I have been out of work for a year and a half.
