1970 Challenger Date Codes

Hello- I Recently Purchased a 1970 Challenger and am looking for some help getting a build date for the car.  My Sequence number is 168442.
I was told that a good place to look, was on the rear valence, stamped where the license plate would mount, and under the steering wheel, which i haven't checked yet.  That valence number is present, and that stamp reads: DE21909 - though, i have my suspicions that might be a part number.  There is nothing on any of the broadcast sheets. There is no door sticker.  I have the fender tag. Im hoping to be able to locate the correct dates, to do a proper restoration as the car is an RT/SE 383 4 barrel, with numbers matching drivetrain, Plum Crazy/Stripe Delete Car... (though one sheet says Green Stripe.) Almost all the car is there, but what's missing, i'd like to be replaced with as correct parts as possible, as i feel that the car is worth putting back as correctly as possible.  ANYWAY- if anyone has some insight, I'd really appreciate it!

Finding an exact build date is impossible.
 There is a scheduled build date right on the second line from the bottom of your fender tag and it's typed in the top line of your broadcast sheet. That date is as close as you're ever going to get.

The various numbers found stamped on parts through-out the car have absolutely nothing to do with the build date of the car, whoever told you that is crazy

As each part is stamped or manufactured, the manufacture stamps the date on it, like your rear valance, but there's no telling when it would ever be installed on the car.

That would be curious to say the least
