Starter Battery Cables for Mopars
« on: September 14, 2012 - 09:54:19 PM »
I went and did some investigation for a Voltage Limiter and ended up finding a company here on the West coast called M & H Electric.

They actually are the wire harness manufacturer for Mopars and other makes. In fact, they are the vendor for all (or most) wire harnesses for Year One.

Year One has a contract with them on wire harnesses. You can't buy their wire harnesses direct from them because of the contract they have with them.

However, when it comes to battery cables, they can sell direct. I just purchased one at a very good savings on a Hemi 4 speed battery to starter cable. About 50% less than what I had been shopping for price wise prior on it.

It's a new line up they just started on and not many know they are doing it.
They just bought all the tooling to begin making them.

I've got all new M&H harnesses in my car.  They aren't 100% correct but they fit, they all work and they look nice.  You are correct in that you can only buy them through Year One.  I bought them all at once with the CC.com discount.

You can still buy positive battery cables through Chrysler.  They aren't totally correct but most people won't know the difference.  There should be a large market for correct cables at a realistic price.
