1973 Plymouth Barracuda

Greetings everyone. First timer and glad to be here. I'm looking at purchasing a 73 cuda, and am trying to gauge what a fair price is and what to look out for. Any help would be appreciated. I've talked to the owner of this car in Phoenix and am going to take a look on Monday. Here is the link to the listing, let me know what you think. I get to fly for free so the location isn't that big of a deal breaker (just more of an excuse to drive it back - or ship, depending on how much driving), so if you have any recommendations on what would be a better deal, I am all ears. But, can't do projects (where I live it just wouldn't be practical for me). Would also happily consider a 1970-1971 Challenger.

Engine bay kinda ratty looking,wrong seats but otherwise looks pretty nice.If it`s a solid body i`d say a decent deal.Ask for some pics of the underneath-floor pans,frame rails etc.

Kinda looks like my Challenger when I first got it. My engine bay is still black, wrong seats, etc...
I agree if it's the year you really want and solid body then it's priced ok!  All the "pretty" bolt on stuff you can add as you get the funds!

That is kinda what I thought. Decent or upper end of decent.
$14k sounded better to me, but you know how it goes: seller wants the world for it, buyer thinks the works should be thrown in as part of the deal - meet somewhere in the middle.

I've always liked the 72-74 years more that the 70 or 71. The 'gilling' in the center of the grille, the round taillights - just does it for me.

Anything else seem out of place besides the seats?

Well the most obvious is that the engine is non-original.  383 wasn't an engine option in 1973.

It's also been switched to have the 1974 seat belts.
