1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I have seen numerous situations like this , some dump trucks with the box still up , some with backhoes & the arm to high , some where 5 th wheel travel trailers have driven under low overhangs , some where the bridge or roof has collapsed ontop fo the truck that hit it !!

They need to hire someone to stand there and every time it happens he can walk up to the driver and say "Here's your sign"

The sad part is how many appear to be rental box trucks for moving.

The poor people probably had no clue.

That's crazy. A few years ago we had a drunk dump truck driver (those two can make for some interesting events) that drove down a residential street with the dump truck bed up in the air and he never knew it. He was too drunk. He took out the overhead power, phone and cable lines for several blocks before he was stopped. Lucky no one was hurt or electrocuted!!  :scared:

Ok, I'm guilty of this too...

I rented a U-haul truck, I dunno, what it was, like the front like a Ford van but the back had a truck cargo box type of thing, maybe a 20 foot truck?  What ever it was it was in pretty rough shape and the front end was all loose, had bad tierods.

I was on Strorrow drive along the Charles river where there a several foot bridges over the road, I did not hit anything but I remember a guy in a little MGB pulling up to me as I was driving and saying, "Dude!!!  You truck is too close to the bridge!"

Maybe if not for the fact there was little air in the tires I could have hit I guess....  :dunno:

How is it they had no clue??

The bridge has a overheight sensor with a flashing yellow light and probably a warning sign
 well before it as well.....

I think its more like no sense........
