I must be nuts, I am thinking of getting my 5 year old a drum kit for Xmas...

so do you think I am nuts or should I go for it????

Jason, I think MacCauly's (sic?) on King St in Preston offers drum lessons. Why not let the lad learn on someone else's gear and let them have the sore ears until you and he see if it's something he wants to carry on with as well as giving him the training to actually use them? Just my  :2cents:  Ian

Bummer Jason... we just sold a drum kit on Kijiji. Bought it for my son and he never used it. That and it took up a lot of room.
