Is it ok to give her Midol? I've just been giving aspirin. A long time ago,Vet said giving dogs aspirin was ok. (other symptoms, and stuff) Don't know about Midol? Never thought to ask.

Strong recommendation is No!!!

As with most pain relievers intended for use on humans, Midol is also a killer medicine for dogs. If you give this to your pet, it may provide an instant relief from pain but it can also cause other diseases and complications.

, give baby aspirin instead. This is one type of people medicine that is guaranteed safe for dogs.

I was just joking. Obviously a bad joke. I would never do anything to harm my doggies, and would take them to the vet at the first notice something was awry. It seemed humerous at the time I posted it. I was HOPING someone would call me out on it! In the back of my mind, I had visions of a humerous doggie commercial on tv for doggie Midol. That's all. Wow. Stuff you dream up in your mind doesn't always translate well to internet print. Sorry!  :sadwavey:
