Power window upgrade/repair
« on: December 27, 2012 - 02:37:30 PM »
All my windows on my 71 cuda are slow :swear:  I'm not real familiar w/ all the components, but want to fix.  Should replacing the motors fix the problem or could it be something else ie. switches??   Any thought and where to buy parts or kits the would work??

Thanks, Cudaaah

Are the motors in yours OEM or aftermarket?

I can try to help you with this. Below is a link that shows some of the power window work that I have performed towards the bottom of the page. Usually slow moving motors occur when grounding and corrosion are issues.

If you would like to look into that further, please contact me:  jsrestorations@rocketmail.com

Thank you,

Jim
