« on: December 30, 2012 - 05:21:27 AM »
Ive been thinking of getting my chally some new rims.

not looking for the BLING BLING effect just something to make the car look meaner then what it already does.

really wanting to find some black rims.

Not sure what diameter you want, but for 17",

I went with these. Wheels for Less is out of Texas. Bluff Hill I think. Good customer service.

another place you can buy them,
http://www.sfxperformance.com/brand/American~Racing/Torq~Thrust~M/brand.htm

I bought two wheels from each place because of availability at the time.

Not black, but nice. 72BlunBlu has these.

I like dodj's recomendation of the 17" torque thrusts.
Do you want to keep a 15" rim?  You will be limited on tire choices.

 :iagree:

If you're staying with 15" wheels another cool look would be the Wheel Vintiques Cop wheels:

But for 17" I'd definitely go with the American wheels.  The black centers & polished lip look great on these old cars.

I think they want about $900 per wheel for those......but they are nice.

As with almost everything with XV - the parts are made by someone else....    Those are Forgeline wheels.   SO3

The wheels on that XV Challenger are Kinesis wheels.
I've got a set of four 15x7 cop wheels I would sell (with the dog dish caps).  PM me if you're interested.

The pseudo NASCAR look with nice 15" rubber is cool.  I think Cragar makes these, I think they are reasonably priced.  This pic is the Fast and Furious Monte Carlo but you get the idea.  Gotta get the fat tires out back.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Slightly different design on a Challenger this time.
