*SOLD*70-74 CHALLENGER OEM R/T HOOD

Mint condition, no rust, no dents.  Bottom is hemi orange, top is gray primer.  No inserts.  Comes with squirter nozzles, safety hook, and bracket.  This original hood is much nicer than any reproduction hood out there and doesn't need any work, it's ready for paint.
The holes for the D O D G E lettering have been welded up; I was going to use it on my 1971, but I decided to go T/A.

Looking at the safety hook area, it looks like a 72-74 hood.  Those years used the long wire rod to reliece the hook.  The header panel stuck out farther so you needed the long wire rod to be able to reliece the hook.  In 70 and 71, the grills were inset a lot so the hook reliece handle was accually attached to the hook itself.

It still might fit a 71 though.  You'd have to find out if the safety hook is in the same place.  If it's in the same place, you're good to go...the hook will just be a different design.

I still have the original flat hood from my 71 Challenger.  The hook on it has never been changed and it's EXACTLY the same as the hook on this R/T hood.  As for fitment, you can see from the pictures above, it fits my 71 perfectly.
