Thanks guys, I went back out and gave it a little more umph, sure enough she came right out. Swapped my pickup coil, set the air gap and we're back up running again. Just an FYI for the future, my pickup that was on the car was reading within spec but I swapped it anyhow (after eliminating all other culpites) and sure enough that was the problem.
what about you remove the screw in the pic,,, wouldnt the pic up come lose then?
The flat blade screw you see in the picture is for the air gap adjustment only, it won't allow for anymore clearance.
