727 parts sources
« on: March 21, 2013 - 03:37:11 PM »
So,  the dilema of the day is, what suppliers to get rebuild parts from?   727, on a small block.  Getting confused looking all over  the web at kits and parts,  with red, green and tan clutches,  different steels and kits   its not supposed to be this confusing, is it?  bolt in sprag or replace the accordian springs and rollers.....What vendor/vendors does everyone else use. I see trans parts usa,  transdeals, some ebay sellers?  wher to begin and what would be best for street and maybe a trip or two on a track?  Are read friction plates needed?  tan?  green?   kolene steels.  :clueless:   :1zhelp:    someone?  anyone,  Terry

It all depends on how much HP your making. I like getting parts through TSR Racing. They have the most complete kits that I have seen.

I've used A&A Transmissions. All they do is mopar stuff and they have always been great for help or advice over the phone.
Prices are pretty good also.

Went with Terrys link, put all the pieces together in a bundle and still came out spending less than the competitors (complete kits)  and had everything deliveres to my door in 2 days.   Tore it down and had it back together in another 2 days,  o what fun  :cooldancing:  Now as soon as I get another vac leak taken care of I get to do a road test  :burnout:
