440 RPM / Stock carb. kickdown slackrod modification.

Just enough room for WOT, and some slack for a choke setup. This also fits under the stock flat hood. (1974 B.)

Nice! But sure was nice to dump all that stuff, and go to a manual valve body. Which also
gives harder crisper shifts, which prolongs tranny life.
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I did remove the kick down linkage from my LA 1968 Cuda.
I'll dig out the picture. It still has both E & A, throttle brackets piggy backed.
This 440- 1974 cuda is for strip-now /street-later, so its only got a shift improver kit / 4.30 ratio (for now) and it needs a kick down.
