    could someone point me in the right direction?...i need to know what paint to use for the ashtry for my car---74 challenger, interior is black---will any black paint due? to freshen her up?  thanks in advance for your help..brand of paint would be nice..pat

    "usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

    Although I'm sure its not 100% factory correct, I love the SEM Trim Black paint.  It sprays really well for a spray can paint.  If it's not a 100% resto you're doing than its the way to go.

    I orginally painted mine with black base coat and a semi-gloss clear coat out of a paint gun.  However I was unhappy with how it came out and ended up re-painting it with the Trim Black.

    Original paint is listed as Black, Ditzler paint #9388. if it's any help.

    Factory used a Suede finish.  Hard to find now, but there's some out there.

    I did mine in quick dry industrial satin black enamel.
