Will a 1973 seat frame accept a 1970 seat cover and foam. I like the look and shape of the 70 style

I don't think so. I havn't had my 73 seats apart yet, but they used a new process for the foam. It is somehow moulded to the seat frame. It's not replaceable like the earlier years. To rebuild a 73 seat, you have to add foam to the worn areas.
