New Member from CT, looking for info on a RB413
« on: February 06, 2013 - 04:58:38 PM »
Hey there, just joined up, site looks cool. I got my 74 Cuda from a guy in MA a few years ago, said he swapped the 360 to a friend for a 413, but didn't remember the car it came from. Trying to do a rebuild with a friend after it sat in the body shop for 3 years but having trouble finding info on the 413. Any suggestions?  MOPAR OR NO CAR!

The 413's are kinda orphans and pistons are not easy to find. You'd probably do better to sell the engine to an early Mopar guy and go 440. The parts are MUCH cheaper and easier to find. OR, find another small block and go that way. good luck  :2cents:

413s are thick wall and will bore to 426 no problem which makes pistons easier to get.
413 is 4.19" bore
426RB is 4.25" bore along with 426 hemi and 383.
Burnouts are cool but Traction is the Action
