Hi guys just wanted to add an update to where this car is at, I bought it alittle while ago and after a couple time of trying to get it out of the snow I finally was able to get it home where it will be out of the elements thankfully. Plan on doing a full resto on it and put it up on the rotissory for sand blasting very soon. It was origianly tawny gold from the factory and it has many 72 parts on it for some reason. The main body is very nice which will make it very easy to do up. The floors and trunk are mainly solid for the most part and will need no replacement panels. It will need better doors and correct fenders. I'm going to paint it black with the factory orange non r/t side stripe and orange plaid interior. I'll add either a shaker hood or ralley not sure yet.  Rear spoiler, quarter side scoops, factory polyglas tires, 340 motor, 4 speed. The story was pretty close from the original poster but the car was purchased from the original owners a short while back. The kid I bought it from bought it for $300.00 off of the original owner wife  :o. She told him it was her husbands old car and has been sitting ever since he passed away in her garage.  From the pic the original poster showed it looks to at the place where I bought it.
Any ways here's a few pics of it after I got it home in the garage.

Glad you finally got it home. Your brother told me you had a bear of a time getting it out of where it was sitting the other day. Looks pretty nice.

I did the first time I went to get it out I spent half a day trying to get my brothers 3500 dodge dually cummins unstuck in 3 ft of snow(lol). I gave up on getting the car and just went home to get it on another day when it wasnt down pouring and snowing at the same time(lol). The last time I went up I hired a construction guy that had all the equipment I needed and it still took 3 hours of snow removal to get it out and a flat bed. I'm just happy to finally have it home. I also had a deer bounce off the side of it on the way home, but luckly it didnt do any thing to the car.

No the original poster never purchased the car, not sure why as I would of been all over it. The kid did mention there was someone that kept bugging him about it that only wanted to offer 2 grand for it. If that was the original poster that's kind of silly on his part. I feel I got a great deal on it for $7500.00.

Well $300 bucks to $7500 is a nice profit but from the looks of the car it's still a steal at 7.5k

Who knows some fresh gas, a little oil priming and it may just turn over.  The joy of driving your new car around can't be put into words.  Sounds to me like your going to tear into it first and then do the driving.  If you have the patience to do that I guarantee you'll enjoy the first sunny day of cruising beyond your wildest imagination.  Like anything good in life you'll appreciate the wait.  I'm happy for you.

That's a great deal at $7500.  :grinyes:

Great looking car! It looks better than in the first pic you posted.  :grinyes:
