Who knows about cuda seats?

Greetings! I just joined and was hoping I could get a burning question answered. I have a 1970 Cuda project and it came with 1972 seats. I want to put 1970 foam and seat covers on them. Will this work?
thanks!
Rick

It will work but will not be year correct. The 70 seats had 1 year only releases on the side of the seat and are different than the 71-74 seats. But in reality, it will work.

the 72 seats use a soft back as well not the hard back in 70-71 , not sure if the hard back will attach to the seat frame

Thanks, I didn't know about the release. I was hoping the hard back did mount to the frame. Once i get back to the states, I'll have to look. If the hard back doesn't fit I hope the 70 seat covers will cover the entire back.

Early production 72's had a plactic back like 70-71 seats. If that what you have then you're okay.
If you have the soft back seats like 73-74's then you're out of luck. Your 70 seat covers will not cover the back, or even attach properly.
