65 Cuda torsion bar question
« on: February 24, 2013 - 05:49:05 PM »
Hi,
New here with a lot of questions on my 65 cuda project. I have picked up a 273 to replace the slant 6 that was there. Found a k member, but it came without torsion bars. Sorry if asked and answered before. Just looking for any help with selecting and sourcing the best pieces.
Thanks in advance. Probably just the first of many ???

Your '65 is an A body version of the Barracuda. There are several supliers of torsion bars. Probably the most economical is if you can catch te ePST version on sale for $200. Otherwise, most are around the $300-350 range for a set and the most knowledgeable suplier is probably going to be Firm Feel. Talk to them about your car, package, budget, and driving style and they can recommend a good size for you.

btw, Welcome!
