Great video on tightening up sloppy LCA's

Control arm repair


If the adjuster is really loose then NOW is the time to fix them. Here is a good video on how to do that. I'd add in to get it a little tighter tack weld the stiffening plate while pinching the end shut while in a vise.

Why would one not just add some small cross straps around the end where there was no interference to hold that hex adjuster piece. And the bottom stiffener as well.

I'm sure that would work too as long as the cast/forged adjuster didn't stick out past the stamped arm.
