    Just curious if anyone has installed them on a stock srt8? If so, any feed back??

    I have them on my 70 cuda and love them. I have had lots of fun on the street with them,the sound when partially open is second to non. I have done a dyno pull and only found 3 hp difference from open to closed,so dont do it for power gain alone. Ive been beside a cop at a red light and played with him when he had no clue as to what was going on :clueless: I have 2 and 1/2 inch exhaust on my car and very free flowing mufffler i guess because there was little difference open and closed.     Thanks Cuda. I'm putting them on a 71 Dart I'm restoring now, not for gain, but for fun. I was thinking about installing a set on the 2013 srt8??? Couldn't hurt, right??

    I too have them. Got them on my '74 Challenger and like 'cuda' stated, they are a lot of fun and definitely loud and mean sounding. I've got 3" exhaust. I don't know how they would work on a newer model Challenger, but I'm sure would be just as much fun as on an older Mopar. As far as the dyno thing, I think I made 1 or 2 ponies more with the cutouts closed than open. You need a little bit of back pressure and I ran leaner with them open too. Nothing significant. I do know they can be pricy as I am currently looking to replace a solenoid on my driver's side cutout. If you do install a set, let us know how the install went and post up some pics!!  :2thumbs:

    I had them on a 2007 Super Bee.  They are extremely loud.  You can't have them open all the time.  I liked being able to have them on, off, or somewhere in-between at the hit of a button.

    i have them on my rt. i have them open about half, all the time.

    if i had them open, i would get a ticket for sure.
