Been a while
« on: March 12, 2013 - 05:29:40 AM »
Well guys it's been a bit. Ended up getting rid of the cuda (kick myself every day now) and was without a classic of any sorts for a bit. Got a heck of a deal on a 74 satellite though, and decided I could play around with that. Cheaper than the cuda, and a lot less work to put into it too lol. This one runs and drives. I suspect that I will regret getting rid of the cuda for quite a while, though. Anyways figured I would come back and hopefully get some info/advice from you guys occasionally when I need it. Was on a b-bodies forum for a little while, but needless to say it didn't work out. Wrong crowd, is my figuring.

Anyways I know  :useless: so on to the pics.

Just a little 318 for now, but I do have some plans to beef up the motor. Figure a roller cam with magnum r/t heads. Basically new top end, and rebuild the bottom. Rough guesstimate 400ish hp/tq (following a magazine build, somewhat loosely).

And of course the object of my affection that brought me here to begin with, and now the object of my mourning. Sure do wish I would have kept that and gotten it finished. Sadly $ had other plans.

  You know what hood needs to go on that car.   Once you put that and some bucket seats in it, it will look very cool. I know everyone pics on the 73 4 sats. Is it a 400 cube?  tell us more

A lot of people put the roadrunner hoods on them, but I am thinking about being different. I am considering putting on the dual hood scoops that they used on the dusters for a while. Just hope they are big enough to look good on there, as I think the dart was a bit smaller. Either that or maybe a max wedge hood scoop.

Glad to be back guys and thanks for the warm welcome.
