Looking for a radio cover plate

This may be a silly idea, but does anyone make a plate that covers the radio hole in the dash that just looks like the original radio?  Having a working radio is not a big deal to me.  I am looking at that repo radio, but I just can't see spending $500 plus on a radio head.  I will probably end up doing it.  Just wondering if anyone makes any kind of blanking plate that looks good.

The radio delete plate could have been had from the factory. I doubt anyone is re-popping them now though.

No repop of the block off plate.

I've been looking to buy  a block off plate for years and have not found one yet.

Your probably stuck putting a radio in.

  if you want a radio dummy,just put in a broken oem radio?

Or you could get a broken radio and cut the back half off if you are trying to free up some space back there.

Yeah, I would just put in my old original radio if my dad had not taken it to the dump twenty years ago after cleaning out his garage.   

Such is life.

I will probably just break down and buy a repop.

Well I found an original radio on ebay with a price that I could live with.  I have not hooked it up to any speakers yet (don't have any yet) but the face plate light works.

Check out the knobs.  Those knobs are brand new NOS 40 year old knobs.
