It's a wrap!
« on: March 25, 2013 - 09:14:54 PM »
My wife, after the fiasco with trying to get the Hurst look on her hood, went with a flat black wrap on the hood.  Here are some pics.  I think it came out really nice. The guy was impecible when he worked on it. The underside is awesome also.  I would recommend him to anybody. She is now thinking of something on the side.  Any suggestions?  Custom Billboards maybe?

Wow, if that's a wrap it sure fits well!  Very subtle change in the pics, I bet more of a difference in person.  And I think similar stripes or even billboards would look very cool!

Jim,
yes it was a cloudy day so the difference is subtle in the pics.  I agree similar stripes on the side or billboards would look great.  He said he can customize anything in the graphics so instead of copying the Cuda' billboards maybe the Mopar "M" or something .

You should "wrap" the tops of the fenders and header panel to match the hood. :2cents:

I agree anlauto, I said that to her and she is considering that as well.  Thanks for the input.

It is all relative when it comes to rock chips, the bigger the rock the worse it will be but for normal little road stones it stands up well.  The 3M product is a pretty good mil thickness. As for bird crap and road grime not a problem from what I have seen or been told. In fact the installer said to clean it with isopropyl alcohol and that would help it. For the crap I still wouldn't let it sit for a long time on it.
