Stefan,

What's the name of this "special polymer" product?

I found this: http://www.moonshinestore.com/polymersurfacecleaningbar.aspx

But that looks like the only product available (on a quick search).

I use nanoskin autoscrub pad.

I was sold on this product within seconds after I saw what it can do to a car that sat around my shop for over 12 years.  All sorts of overspray came right off in just few passes

Sounds like you are ahead of the rest of us so, from where do you obtain these pads?

Below is a link for the Nanoskin web site where you can get the autoscrub pads. You may also find their products on Amazon.com. I viewed the youtube video and this stuff looks like a great product (a little pricey) and will achieve great results with much less elbow grease. I definitely plan on trying it out!!  :2thumbs:

Call me cheap bastard, but I never fall for the lubricants. I use simple water hose. Keep in mind, most of the projects I deal with I end up buffing the paint, not waxing right after the overspray, rust and regular contaminants. So it's possible that those fancy lubricants offer the type of lubrication that leaves the surface ready for wax without any micro scratches, but I highly doubt it.

I get the pads for $60 a pair . I use them on regular basis, The best part about them is that they don't keep any of the crap that they picked off the paint, simple rinse off and they're as good as new. And for an average guy that maintains his couple family cars, the pair of these pads should last you about 10 years or more .

If you can't find them cheaper that $60 a pair, let me know and I'll get you in contact with brother of the owner of the company.

Maybe we can by a case from the brother and reduce the cost.

Been reading as many reviews of this nanoskin pad, and there's a significant number of first time users claiming that the pad gave the paint a lightly sanded look. They were unhappy with it. Elite, would you think those are just people not following directions, is it easy to not use enough lube and have issues? Or is it just pay attention to what you are doing? I like the idea of this pad, just like to research a bit. I like the results of clay bars, but hate using them.
