It all depends on what components you have done and ready to go. As far as the interior is concerned, start with the firewall/under dash insulation. Then install the heater box and e-brake mechanism. Get the tail light electrical harness installed as well as the dome light harness. Install the headliner, sun visors and rearview mirror. Install the brake and gas pedals. Assemble the complete dash assembly and install it as one unit. Once the dash is in you can install the A-pillar trim. Once the A-pillar trim is on, you can install the metal interior trim.
Install the brake/fuel lines early on. That goes for the gas tank too. The fuel filler kneck on a Challenger needs to be installed before the tank...not sure about a Cuda. Get everything bolted to the firewall...booster/master, wiring harnesses, prop valve, wiper motor, ECU and voltages regulator. It's very easy to install these items while standing in the engine comp. without the engine inplace.
The front spring hangers for the leaf springs need to be installed on the springs before they bolt to the car. Have both springs hanging by the front hangers. Set the rear end on the springs and lift the assembly inplace while hooking up the shackles. Then hook up the shock brackets and u-bolts.
Install the UCA's to the body...do not tighten cam bolts. Install the rest of the suspension and steering box onto the K-member. Bolt the engine and trans together and bolt them to the K-member. Then dress out the engine/trans with all the brackets, wiring, small components and linkages. Raise the front of the car up with a cherry picker and install they entire assembly from below. Hook up the torsion bars and UCA's.
