'cuda challenger headlights
« on: April 21, 2013 - 11:53:34 AM »
Hello! I will need to exchange the headlights on my 'cuda from original to those which have an EU certification to be permitted tu use the car around here. I'm wondering if the 'cuda headlights are the same diameter as those used on challenger. Unfortunately no challenger around here to check this. On pictures the challenger headlights seem to me a bit bigger than those of a 'cuda. If someone knows, please tell me. I just wanna know if I need to search something for the 'cuda or the challenger lights could fit. Chally is just much more popular here in Europe. thanks!

What year is your Cuda?

If it's a 71, then the Challenger lights will fit.

I think the 1970 and the 72-74 Cudas use the larger light don't they?  The Challengers and 71 Cudas use the smaller light.

Yep....the 71 e-bodies had 4 headlights.  Separate High beams and separate low beams.
cudas used 2 headlights except for 71.  High and low beams combined into one headlight producing a larger diameter.

Thanks guys! Yes, that's 71 'cuda. Could it be that all mopars with 4 headlights were equipped with 5 3/4 diameter and those with two lamps with 7?
