Let us know how it goes, I'd like to do mine.
I swapped out the bushings and pin on the upper hinge on Saturday. It already had bushings in it that were worn. I don't
know if they come that way from the factory or not. I knocked the pin out, used a small round chisel to reach inside the hinge to the opposite bushing
and tapped it out, reversed the sequence and knocked out the other bushing. Used the jaws of the vise to squeeze each new bushing in,one at a time
,packed the bushing bore with lithium grease and reassembled. All in , I think I spent 8-10 minutes on it. If you hinges dont have bushings
then I would suggest drilling the hinge for the bushings on a drill press in one straight shot. That way there is no misalignment
issues.
