I ordered a 2013 Challenger last week.

I now have a link to track it through the assembly process steps.  Wish they had web cams so that you could actually"watch" it on the assembly line.

That said, the first think I want to do is replace the shifter.  I've read a few things about the Gunslinger and Mr. Norm's pistol grip shifter.

In some of the photos I've seen, it looks like the shifter handle gets pretty close to the Heat/AC controls.  Has anyone found that to be a problem?

Any comments or recommendations would be appreciated.

...I have the Mr. Norms in my 09 SRT...love it, it looks 100% original...it also has a HURST shifter in it...no problem with dash clearance at all...big benefit, your hand is several inches higher than with the stock shift handle and you now shift with your elbow instead of your shoulder...one of the best mods I have ever done...I also have a 13 SRT on the way and already have another Mr. Norms handle ready for the new car

Sounds like I wouldn't go wrong with either of these.

Thanks for the feedback.

Great question  I was going to ask this same question.  I just bought a 2013 R/T with auto stick, and I really want one of the pistol grip shifters As I think they LOOK like a pistol grip unlike the new Challengers "pistol grip" What needs to be done to accomplish this, Are these easy to install ?

Hey Burt, I should have been more specific. I ordered the 6 speed manual.

The gunslinger site has a good explanation on the installation of the automatic and manual.  Sounds pretty easy in either case.

Do you have your car now?  Can't wait for mine to arrive.  Should be 6-8 weeks.  I'm hoping it will be sooner.  In any case, I should have it in time for Carlisle.  May look for the shifter there.

the Auto Pistol Grip is a 1 min install , just remove the old / original handle , it differs with different years , not sure about the 2013 & the Pistol is held on the with a set screw .

Just ordered nice carved pistol grips from Rob.

Kinda building my car from the shifter grip out.

I'll get the shifter on order in a few weeks, and have it ready to attach the car to it when it arrives late May, early June.

It's all about the pistol grip.  :clapping: :smilielol:
