It's a original 340/4speed car, has a 383 and a 727, I would want to convert it back to original, I dont think a 383 has much more power over a built 340, I think people converted them over due to thinking bigger is better.

here's what he said in a email
Is the 383 stock?, no, mild cam, intake, edlebrock carb, aluminum radiator
header's?, yes with a brand new exhaust  (last Christmas ) 2 1/2 w/ flow masters

does the TC have a stall  speed? no factory stall speed

Got a email other day from a wanted craigslist ad i been posting for some time........
Guy claims he bought a wrecked '74 in a maroon color like mine sometime around 1985, he kept the engine and trans saying it was a 1970 340 and a fairbanks 727 auto, which my car had when sold in 1983 he then sold the body to friend.

He basically told me what i had for info in my ad, he's selling a '70 340 Dart on Craigs also for 14k, called him and who knows ight be a good bull****ter, but maybe there's closure in my old cr from 30 yr's ago.
