    I hate this floor shifter... Cable probably damaged. I might use the column shifter - if I can get the missing parts. Unless it comes in conflict with the headers/exhaust system. I also have a slapstick shifter with console... choises to be made.....
    The 426 didnt seem happy after a year without start. Ended with a small fire in one of the carburators....after a lot of sputtering and the neighbours running for cover...Will probably read about mysterious shooting in the local paper.
    To sum it up: :22yikes: :swear: :stomp: :pullinghair: :banghead: Long winter ahead...More work to do..

    Still winter...But spring is getting closer. Managed to drive the car out of the garage.. Even thou the hemi was very grumpy... Waiting for the carb repair kits from YearOne...Hope they show up soon.
    Meanwhile I can have fun with torq details and torsion bars.... And I would really like to throw the BM shifter.... Have most of the parts to build a slap stick shifter... but might need some of the small details.. But where can I get them?? The headers might be a problem...
    And get some nice wheels. And some paint fix..

    I have most of the pieces for a floor shifter. I am planning on going witha 4spd. Where are you located? My shifter is a correct 70 shifter.

    From the picture you can see which pieces I do have. I am located in Norway.....The original column shifter is still there, but the mount on the frame is missing.And probably some of the parts from the frame to and on the 727...I'd clearly prefer that to the BM... But then there is the headers... Might be a problem.

    "usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

    When I finally removed a torsion bar I discovered that the previous owner had mounted the right kind already.....
    Today the torsion boxes were velded in. Needed some modifications to fit...Now the final rebuild can begin  :jumping:
