Six pack intake and carb identification
« on: May 25, 2013 - 06:50:00 PM »
I have a six pack set up that I have decided to sell,  I'm 99% sure the whole set up consists of original parts. The intake is cast iron and has a date of 7/26/69. How do inidentify the carburators. I need the info before listing for sale because I know instill get these types of questions. Where do i start?

there is a list # stamped into the carb body , on the choke horn on the center carb & on the back of the front & rear carbs the front & rear carb will be sequential for example 4789 & 4790 , these are the small block carbs & I cannot find the big block #s as all  my books are gone now . there is also a date code , the first 3 # are the day & the last # is the year so you should have something like 1519 for the 151st day in 69
If I was 1/2 smart I would buy it too
