Chrysler 360 Block/ 412 Cubic Inch (.030 Over)?

I see these (and similar) kits advertised whereby a 0.030 overbore is done. When I run an online engine displacement calculator, I get 408ci with a +0.030 bore, and 414ci with a +0.060 bore. So, how do these kits give you a 412 cid?

Don't know.  :dunno: By using the standard formula it comes out to 414 cubic inches. Maybe RPM uses a strange
formula, or it's a misprint. Never been a fan of RPM myself anyhow.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Then there's info like these on other sites (from Googling "360 to 412 stroker kit"):

"I know there is a place in Georgia that offers a 318/408 or 412 package. The difference in the 340 and 360 kits would be the main bearing size. The 340 has the small mains in it like the 318 and 273. The 360 has a larger main."

"There is a huge difference in bore size of the 318 and 360. The 318 only has a 3.91 bore and the 360 has a 4.00 bore. To make them equal to start you have to go 0.090 over on the 318. To get a 408 you bore it 0.120. I know it sounds like a lot but if the block has enough wall in it to start with there should be no issues. I think to go to a 412 you take the little block out 0.150. All it means is that you have to start with a very good block."

My engine was built about 6 years ago from a 360 block (that apparently was previously bored/stroked to a 383); I don't know exactly what my engine builder did or put in, but the engine dyno sheet says Mopar 412; I had custom "412 FOUR BBL" SHAKER emblems made.  If a 412 is possible, then I'll just stick with my new emblems.  If a 414 is more likely (and that's really what my engine is), then I might have to have the emblems remade.  Thanks for all the feedback.

If you look at the top of the dyno sheet, it says what heads, carb, etc.  The engine was built by Carlos (owner) at Submission Engines  http://submissionengines.com/
The heads are ported, polished Edelbrock Performer RPM.  The kicker is the Cam, but all the internals were specially selected by Carlos.  He knows how to squeeze awesome HP out of engines running on pump gas (91 octane in my case in So Cal).  The Holley 4150 750HP received a "stage 4" modification by Performance Carburetor http://performancecarb.wordpress.com/

Those are pretty good numbers, they are pretty close to the 340 based 419 in the duster, it made 627 on pump gas, I think ur car makes more power than any 360 based stroker I've seen, pretty impressive man, what kind of track times does that good lookin car put down?
