Vintage Camaro Stolen in Clinton, ON


Wednesday, 15 May 2013 11:49




A vintage sports car went missing in Clinton Monday night.
 
The Huron County OPP is investigating the theft of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that was stolen from Maple Street.
 
The restored Camaro is a replica COPO valued at an estimated $71,000.
 
It has an azure turquoise paint job and a historic Ontario licence plate.
 
Any person with information regarding this incident should immediately contact the Huron OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-8314.
 
Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Wow, hope they find it.  :(

Could only imagine what the engine alone in that car is worth if it's a really detailed replica COPO.  I think those were all aluminum ZL-1 427s in there.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Just had a blue 69 Camaro drive by the house. Sounded nice! Looked like Iroc Blue I don't think it's the right colour?

could be more of a blue than turquoise IMO  ...found this on a cheby site
