70-71 Challenger rear bumperettes, are they side specific?
« on: May 19, 2013 - 09:43:56 PM »
I would like to replace the passenger side rear bumperette on my 71 R/T Challenger.

I'm trying to find a good used one and have been told they are side specific?

Is this correct?

Would it be considered a right side bumperette?

Thanks.

Yes, they are side specific and I believe the passenger side would be considered the right side. I just received my re-chromed replacements from Tri-city and each bumperette has a different angle to follow the bracket attached to the end of the frame rail.

Thank you.

Now if I could just find a nice used passenger side one.

It's almost time to install the bumper.
