    1969 GTX question....

    I ran across a pretty nice '69 GTX over the weekend. The guy driving it says he is the original owner. It was a 383 4 speed car. I don't remember the GTX's coming with 383's, all I remember are the GTX's with 440's. My question is:  does anyone know if the GTX's even came with a 383 option in 1969?  Thanks in advance....

    440 was standard, Hemi was optional.

    Like JS27N0B said, in 1969 the 440 was standard on the GTX and the only engine option was the Hemi.  GTX was the top of the line and that's way those were the only engine options.

    I saw you ride by around 6:30-7 ish. It looked like you were headed out. I was parked in the last parking lot on the left. Sorry I missed you. That car still looks awesome..
