So my wife's company has been grooming her to take over for a guy who is retiring from the company after 28 years of service. This would constitute another move for us, but more importantly, a better opportunity for our family. It would take us from the panhandle of Nebraska to the Lincoln/Omaha area. A huge raise for her and less traveling, which me and our 2 small boys (1&3) would love. Well as it turns out, the gentleman has postponed his retirement from this November to October of next year. I guess this could be a bit of a blessing as we have been RUSHING to finish remodeling our current house to have it ready for sale. On the other hand, I was really looking forward to the move back towards an area with a 4 year university so I could finish my education(graduated from the local CC last month). Anyway, not sure where I am going with this lol a little stressed, bummed, and a little relieved too.
