proportiong valve location?
« on: June 04, 2002 - 08:28:05 PM »
since this was missing when i bought the car- I need the location of it- a picture of it would be of greatest help.

have one now for the car but can't seem to find the holes to line up.
it has a bolt and 3/4" away is a tab.

power steering, power booster, 4 speed clutch

thanks
john

in that location it would look like my power steering unit would not allow it to be there. if you do have others, that would help

thanks bigmike!!

with all the stuff around it , it is hard to see exactly where is is located- lol lol

tell me if it is on the frame or on the innear fender.
how far in front of the master booster, how far up from the frame rail.  this should help me!

thanks again!!!!!!

thanks BIG MIKE-  the measurements helped alot.

the unit I have has the bolt in it but the little tab below it doesn't fit in the hole below the bolt hole on the innear fender- but!! looking closely I can see a impression on the fender for the tab!!! looks like the factory didn't drill it out!!!  thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
