my neighbour has a nice cherokee 5.7hemi. It`s got a strange overheating problem ever since he removed the radiator cap/ bleed cap
One moment good temp and the next the fan kicks in and the upper rad hose collapses and temp shoots up. After a little while the hose filles again and temps drop like a brick to normal. My guess is it`s got air in the cooling system, but why did this happen after removing the cap, and how do you get the air out? The jeep has 12000 mls on it.
