Inside back window trim
« on: June 05, 2013 - 10:56:46 AM »
I'm not sure If I'm the only one, but it was the biggest pain to install the back inside window trim in my challenger. 1. there is no room to work in the back seat as I am 6'4". 2. its hard to line up the screw holes especially when you are overlapping the edges of the trim. 3. the back seats are so uncomfortible in those cars. Has anyone else experience issues installing the trim?

It wasn't too bad but the glass wasn't in yet.  I'm sure that helped a lot.  I installed the trim as soon as the headliner was in place.  The same goes for the A-pillars and windshield trim.

Take the back seat out.Lay a blanket down.Get a fan to blow air around so you don't sweat like a big dog.It takes 2 people to do it right.Start with the bottom  and work around.Do not tighten the screws down all the way until the end.Make sure you test fit the ends that they fit into the overlap ones. The last 2 screws are the hardest, but with help you will get it done.
