very salvageable 71 roadrunner (satelite) 383 car
« on: March 20, 2005 - 10:33:23 AM »
found this very salvageable 71 satilite (roadrunner?) in the salvage yard yesterday.
this car is actually quite solid and needs a good home. Its another N code 383 car.

Another guy was in there looking for toronado parts and he told me there was a very complete "purpleish pinkish" cuda like the nash bridges cuda over on the north side somewhere, he had seen it several times last year. We could not find it, but I have not been able to check the flooded areas yet.

We are getting a road cleared so I can get some of these out if anyone is interested in them.

I also found 2 semi trailers used for storage that have several dozen manual transmissions in them.
One e body 3 speed and one a body 4 speed with pistol grip mount still on it so far. All in nice condition since they are stored inside.

I think looking thru salvage yards is better than finished cars. call me crazy.

mike,
you may be right. I dont knob b bodies (or whatever it is) that well.
If I remember right, the vin was WH23N1xx so I guess that would be a charger. according to my handi dandi pocket decoder card
wish I had a way to enter ID into my camera, i could code the pics with the vins

71-72 Charger.  You can tell by the quarter windows.  They have a unique shape.

I'll take that Cuda, when you find it! ;D
Will that road allow for the V-Code Charger to be carried out?

call me crazy.

Crazy.

Hopefully by the end of summer the road will go far enough to get the v code charger out.
If not, it will take a helicopter to lift it out. Call me crazy (again) but I think that would be fun just to do it with a chopper.
Opening a road will no doubt bring a bunch of interest, so I am going to try and get the v code charger purchased this week, and the 70 cuda and maybe a couple of the later year chargers, there are two that are quite solid and intact and the 69 charger b5blue car that is very complete and solid also.

I must be as crazy as you b5 as I dream of winning powerball and just spending months traveling around hitting junk yards and rescuing all the Mopars and even a few brand x cars that I find.

I could do it every day.

today I found a pistol grip shifter on a 3 speed? I did not even know anyone did that? I think it was a gm trans.
