    Tail panel, Trunk, Extension seam overlap Help

    Hi all.  I’m in the process of resurrecting a 71 Barracuda from the depths.  The car will be a Cuda clone with 340 and Rally hood when finished.  Right now I could use a little help with some reference pics.
    As I was taking the trunk apart for trunk floor and extension replacement I found that the car must have had the tail panel replaced at some point in its past… The tail panel was brazed to the trunk floor and the bottom seam is on the outside of the trunk floor.  Here are some pics of the before.  So I’m wondering if anyone can help me out with some very clear pics or diagrams that show the alignment and correct over-lap of the tailpanel, trunk floor, extension, qtr panel area?  Any help would really be appreciated.

    Those pictures are exactly what I needed!  Thx so much.  Was the blackout original as well?

    Any chance I could get a shot of the inside of the trunk same area around the trunk extension to tail panel?
