Did I miss something?

Just some guys that think they know everything... They try to paint him into a corner. I don't have one single dog in this hunt, but what Barry has done is for this community and I, for one appreciate it, and his database.

The other guys are scammers mostly.... My first car has no build sheet and the AAR, he replied right back. I think these guys try to diminish him in the name of personal gain...

Second... Oldsfreak.. shame on you for selling the broadcast sheet..

To all of you that try to monetize the hobby.. **** YOU.

dodj: Barry runs a free website where members can send broadcast sheets etc...a lot of folks have *found* them on his site. Oldsfreak had a rare BCS today and listed it on ebay. I've seen several slanderous posts towards Barry of late.

I don't care except the guys doing it are all +4 restorers and have a lot to lose.....

So there is a compeling reason to do so.. I'm  almost with ECS on this topic..
Keep it real.

Oh....That Barry....

That Barry has a car that I helped restore listed on his web site as "black flagged" and being a rebody.

Barry based this information on before pictures found on the Internet posted by the owner. The owner took a great deal of time, patience and money to repair the original body of this rare car only to have Barry claim it to be a rebody.

Barry refused to change his "given title" of this car after the owner asked nicely and showed proof of how the car was restored.

It's one thing to try and help the hobby move in a positive forward motion, it's another to try and self-police the hobby with no real authority. :2cents:

There are lots of good guys out there that get caught in bad situations. Probably best for them to speak than be spoken for.

Alan, sorry that happened, I'm sure he had his reasons.  How long ago was this anyway?  Have you personally talked to him about it??
