I redid my black interior panels by using SEM adhesion promotors and Landau black. I'm very happy with it so far.  Since you are going blue I would use the paints sold by Herb's Parts. They should have the correct blue. You will need to use an adhesion promotor.

I don't know what year you have but check out this link. It should give you some direction as to how your interior should look.

There is a paint place by me . BAPS in York , PA. There is a guy there named Denis. We call him the paint guru. He has about  85 percent of the Mopar interior color formulas changed to PPG painted .

Give, BAPS in York, PA a call. Ask for Denis and tell him Jackie with the Challenger told you to call. I got all my argents and paint from him  when Slotts restored my grille. He is a great guy.

Yes! I just sprayed the interior trim pieces (around the headliner) with the duplicolor vinyl paint. It surpirsed me at how well it came out. I used the "glossy black" variant, I've only seen it in gloss and flat. Don't use the flat. Though I would only reccomend using this paint for those metal trim pieces. It comes out more towards the chrysler 30 sheen. I had tried it on the plastic pillar arm pieces and it turned out rather glossy. It just depends on what you're paintng. I'm going to give the SEM Landau out for a try on my faded door panels and such as I heard good things about them.

What color is GB5?  :clueless:  burdar mentioned blue?

I forgot what color code I have but I have a blue interior.  Years ago, I found Plasticote interior paint and the front of the panels were chalky and blue green color so I saw somewhere to match to the back side of the panel and the plasticote looked very close to the factory blue plastic panel.

Still haven't put them back in the car though after painting them like 8 years ago...  :faint:

Make sure to clean the panel first with whatever the paint supplier calls for to make sure the paint adhere's well.
