Looking for a 1971 Challenger project.
« on: March 18, 2013 - 02:59:39 AM »
I am looking for a 1971 Challenger project. I don't care what engine size or if it even has an engine. The only specification it must have is that the vin tag and the fender tag match the numbers on the cowl and rad support. the interior is mostly complete don't care if it needs redoing as long as most of it is there. Has to have doors with all the glass in them and the quarters. and the frame rails and firewall need to be solid. If it needs floor and trunk pan that's fine. Let me know what you have and price, pictures would be great also with fender tag numbers. Thanks

71 Challengers are rather rare and definitely the best looking of all classic Challengers

Good luck with your search.

I recently found a 1971 340 auto Challenger for sale. It is need of a full resto. needs both quarters, trunk drops, outer wheel housings. and trunk floor Im sure. the guys says trunk floor is solid. I haven't seen the car yet so not sure. Its a JH car but has some nice options. Its FC7 with white top, Black side stripe, and white interior. has AM radio with console mounted cassette. Rallye dash, power disk brakes, three speed wiper, and power windows. he bought it years ago when a guy started parting it out, so what ever the guy had sold this guy bought new for including a new grill still in the factory box. So what should a guy pay for it? :dunno:
