Thanks guys.
The more I think about it the more a new one makes sense.
I tried JB welding an oil pan on my Durango that had rusted from the inside out and it didnt work.
Prep is the key and that meant pulling the pan etc......and with the amount of work involved it made more sense to just replace it. 9Of course, ended up dumping the truck not long after that when other prpblems creeped up on me)
I think in this case, since it looks like the hole is originating from inside, a new one is in order. It is barely a weep right now......but we know how that goes.
Hopefully will find one at Carlisle at a good price......at least I should safe shipping costs. Not sure I can keep the old one hanging around...space being limited and all.
What ticks me off is it took numerous tries to get the sender to read properly (or at least close) with this tank....I guess it will be the whole process all over again....
