72 E Body and B Body bumper jack?
« on: July 15, 2013 - 09:29:23 PM »
Can anyone tell me if the 72 E and B Body jack was the same? My 72 Challenger has the slot style bumper and a 72 Charger jack I was looking at looks the same as the one for the Challenger?? Thanks!

You are good to go as long as it has the slot.

The B body jack might be longer. It should look fine in the trunk though. It should be the tube style shaft(zinc dichromate plated) with gray mechanism and base. I hope you don't ever plan to actually use it though. They are very unsafe. You can carry a new car scissor jack in the trunk in case you ever get a flat.

Thanks for the info! It looked the same, but the E-Body one's I have seen were commanding more $ than the B-Body ones for some reason :)
